These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of Session Tool, a web application, progressive web app and related tools available at sessiontool.app (together, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Session Tool ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Session Tool is a trading journal and educational tool. It is not a broker, an investment adviser, or a source of financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Nothing in the Service — including any content, methodology, indicator, bias, review, community discussion, or example — constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any financial instrument.
Trading foreign exchange (forex), CFDs and other leveraged products carries a high level of risk and can result in the loss of some or all of your capital. Past performance is not indicative of future results. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions and should seek independent, licensed financial advice before trading. We accept no liability for any losses you incur.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that any information you provide is accurate.
Session Tool provides tools to plan a trading bias, log and review trades, track performance, and — where enabled — access a members' community (channels, direct messages, and audio/video calls), a MetaTrader trade-management tool, and related integrations. Features vary by plan and may change over time. We may add, modify, or remove features at our discretion.
You need an account to use most features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at help@sessiontool.app if you suspect unauthorised use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
When using the Service, and in particular the community features, you agree not to:

You retain ownership of the content you create in the Service, such as your trade journal entries, notes, biases, reviews, and community messages ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you (and, for community content, to other members as intended). You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to share it.
Some content is shared with other members by design — for example, messages, biases, or reviews you post to community channels are visible to other members according to your and their access tier. Do not post anything you are not comfortable sharing, and do not share confidential information or other people's personal data.
The Service, including its software, design, branding ("Session Tool"), methodology, indicators, and educational materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own trading and learning. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works except as expressly permitted.
The Service relies on and links to third-party services, which have their own terms and privacy practices, including: Supabase (hosting/database/authentication), Lemon Squeezy (payments), Resend / email providers (transactional email), TradingView (market widgets and indicators), and embedded media (e.g. a Bloomberg TV stream, GIF search). We are not responsible for third-party services or content.
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, and may update these Terms, as described in section 12.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy. We do not warrant that any journal data, statistics, or third-party market data are accurate, complete, or suitable for any purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we (and our directors, employees, and suppliers) will not be liable for any trading or investment losses, or for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud).
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or Your Content.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (e.g. disclaimers, liability, IP) will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, in the app or by email). Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply.
We may give you notices about the Service by email (to the address on your account) or by posting them in the app; such notices are treated as received when sent or posted. Notices to us should be sent to help@sessiontool.app.
